Our first time in Turkey took us to Club Letoonia in Fethiye, situated on the south western coast of the country and in a naturally sheltered bay on the Mediterranean sea I just don’t know where to start telling the story of this fantastic place, so to start let me say that the photos shown on the next page are just a small sample of the some 1200 taken. I do not normally go so mad with the camera but everywhere you look there is a great photo opportunity, from the great views of the marina the wonderful beaches, the accommodation set in tranquil forests of trees and flowers in the mountains to the fantastic sunsets I could not resist a click of the shutter.

Just where do I start to tell you all about this wonderful place?

First a special mention to the hard working animation team headed by Fifi who were just fantastic and also two bar staff who stood out from the others with their happy banter and smiles they are the lovely Su and Housyin there photo is on the next page.

I was once told that this is the hotel that never sleeps, at any time of the day or night staff work round the clock to keep this hotel clean and smart, and ready for the following day. The food, drink, service and entertainment give the 24 hour All Inclusive tag on this place a true meaning unlike some I have experienced before.  There is a wide range of food to suit all tastes and it is served in many different settings around the resort.  There are bars and restaurants every where you go even the long private beach front has drink machines spread along its length, this is much appreciated when as I did on many a day took a long stroll along the whole length of the beach to walk off a few of the calories I gained over the weeks there.

The photo above was one of many sunsets that can be taken on the tip of the peninsular this is also the location of my favourite place to eat in the evening, “The Moonlight Restaurant” this just has it all Great views over the water, a cool breeze and great food, it is  such a romantic setting and despite the long walk (or Free Train Ride) to it it was always busy with a great atmosphere.

The water  front changes as you move around the length of the private coastline from Sandy with a calm sea to rocks, pebbles, just a patio then back to sand, and every where you go there are places to relax. There are always spare Sun beds,  bean bags and other nice seats to relax on all with plenty of shade.

The hotel also provides a shuttle train that runs back and forth day and night if you find the walking too much, along with new mountain lifts that take you up to the accommodation, these were new in 2010 and more are planed. They were very welcome getting back to our room  after a long day.

I could keep typing here all day but I hope the photos on the following page will help give a real feel for what it is like.   CLICK HERE FOR THE PHOTOS
